FTE-1600S Series Standard Electromagnetic Flowmeter

High-Precision Conductive Liquid Flow Measurement
The FTE-1600S Series Standard Electromagnetic Flowmeter utilizes the principle of electromagnetic induction, accurately calculating flow by measuring the electromotive force induced when conductive fluid passes through a magnetic field. With no moving parts that obstruct the pipeline, it creates minimal pressure loss and has low straight-pipe requirements. It is widely used for flow measurement of various conductive media including clean water, wastewater, corrosive liquids, toxic liquids, and liquid-solid two-phase media. It displays key parameters such as total flow, instantaneous flow, and flow velocity percentage. Due to its high reliability and ease of maintenance, the FTE-1600S has become the preferred flow measurement solution for industrial sectors including chemical, environmental protection, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, and water supply and drainage.

FTE-1600S Series Electromagnetic Flowmeter Key Features

High-precision conductive liquid flow measurement solution with exceptional technical characteristics

Low Flow Rate High Precision

The sensor delivers exceptional performance for low-flow applications, achieving a remarkable lower flow rate limit of 0.03 m/s with high precision. Even at extremely low flow velocities, it provides accurate and reliable flow data.

Precision Molded Housing

The outer shell is precision-cast from aluminum molds, ensuring not only an aesthetically pleasing and consistent appearance but also a seamless, weld-free design that facilitates quick installation/removal and simplifies maintenance.

Enhanced Liner and Electrode

Durability is enhanced by a thickened liner and arc-surfaced electrode, offering superior corrosion and abrasion resistance for challenging mixed-media environments, extending equipment service life under harsh operating conditions.

No Flow-Blocking Components

A key advantage is the complete absence of flow-obstructing components within the measurement pipe, resulting in zero pressure loss, lower straight-pipe requirements, and unique suitability for measuring fluids containing particulates.

High-Performance Microprocessor

At its core, a 16-bit embedded microprocessor enables fast, high-accuracy operations and programmable low-frequency excitation, which enhances measurement stability while maintaining low power consumption.

Surface-Mount Technology

The adoption of SMD (Surface-Mount Device) technology and SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) ensures high circuit reliability, reducing solder joint failures and improving long-term operational stability.

On-Site Adjustable Range

At the scene, the measuring range can be modified online according to the actual needs of the users, so as to better match with the data acquisition needs without requiring factory return or specialized technicians.

Measurement Independence

The measurement results are independent of the physical parameters such as fluid pressure, temperature, density, viscosity, etc., maintaining accuracy across various operating conditions.

Multiple Communication Interfaces

The sensor supports optional digital communication signal outputs including RS485, RS232, HART and Modbus, Profibus-DP, enabling easy integration into various industrial control systems.

Self-Diagnosis Function

With self-examination and self-diagnosis self-diagnosis and alarm function, it enables predictive maintenance, reducing unexpected downtime and improving system reliability.

Ultra-Low EMI Power Supply

Ultra-low EMI switching power supply, suitable for wide range of power supply voltage changes, with excellent anti-EMI performance, ensuring stable operation in electrically noisy environments.
