Specification
Performance Characteristics
The FTM-1630 provides accurate measurement of mass flow, volumetric flow, density, and temperature. Its design delivers high measurement accuracy and stable performance while minimizing flow restrictions. With no moving parts or dead zones in the measuring tube, the flowmeter is also easy to clean and maintain.

The FTM-1630 Micro-Curved Coriolis Mass Flowmeter directly measures the mass flow rate of the process medium using the Coriolis measuring principle. It can also measure volumetric flow and density, while temperature is measured as an additional process parameter.

The flowmeter is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including ingredient dosing and filling in the food and beverage industry, reactor feed measurement in chemical processing, hydrocarbon and petroleum measurement, natural gas and liquid transfer applications, marine fuel consumption monitoring, pulp and paper additives, and colorant dosing.

■ Corrosion-resistant stainless-steel construction with a simple and robust design.

■ No moving parts or dead zones, providing easy cleaning, long service life, and reliable operation.

■ High measurement accuracy, excellent stability, and fast response.

■ Simultaneous measurement of mass flow, volumetric flow, density, and temperature.

■ Suitable for both standard process applications and challenging media such as toxic liquids, pulp, slurries, and paste-like fluids.

■ SMD components and SMT manufacturing technology provide high electronic reliability.

■ The measurement range can be adjusted on site to match actual process and data acquisition requirements.

■ Optional digital communication interfaces include RS485, RS232, HART, Modbus, and Profibus-DP.

■ Built-in self-check, diagnostic, and alarm functions.

■ Measurement performance is largely independent of changes in fluid properties.

Applications

The FTM-1630 Micro-Curved Coriolis Mass Flowmeter is designed for mass flow, volumetric flow, density, and temperature measurement in industries including:

  • Oil and gas
  • Chemical and petrochemical processing
  • Food and beverage
  • Pharmaceutical production
  • Mining and energy
  • Steel and metallurgical industries
  • Power generation
