In useMass Flow MeterAmplitude movement is the basic method of flow meter measurement. How to maintain correct amplitude movement should be analyzed from the aspects of installation, use environment, measured medium, etc. Using a mass flow meter will interrupt the measurement. So what is the reason why the mass flow meter interrupts the measurement?

1. Vibration. The design of the U-shaped double-tube flow meter is greatly reduced, but the impact of common mode vibration on the mass flow meter is not completely eliminated, because the external vibration introduced by the pipeline system will cause unexpected vibration modes in the sensor. If the external vibration frequency is equal to or close to the frequency of the sensor drive system, it will interfere with the drive control system of the instrument, causing the flow tube to vibrate unstable or stop vibrating.

Mass flow meter is an accurate, fast, reliable, efficient, stable and flexible flow meter. It has wide application value in gas and other fields. As long as the mass flow meter is installed and used correctly, measurement accuracy can be effectively improved, manpower investment reduced, and economic benefits improved.

2. Sediments and suspended solids. The mass flow meter can calculate the mass content of one component in a two-component solution or slurry. For accurate density measurement, the situation that must be avoided is that sediment adheres to the wall of the measuring tube or solid particles settle out of suspension, and the phenomenon of too low flow rate should be minimized.

3. Entrained air bubbles. When the flow meter is used for liquid flow measurement, the mass flow meter will stop working when the mist gas content reaches a certain volume content ratio. These bubbles weaken the vibration of the measuring tube used to generate Coriolis force. The gas should be eliminated before the sensor. If it is difficult to do this, reduce the gas content as much as possible, that is, increase the pressure in the sensor as much as possible, and maintain a high liquid flow rate to ensure that the bubbles are evenly dispersed into smaller bubbles.

Vaporization occurs when the pressure of the liquefied gas is lower than its vapor pressure. The pressure drop across the sensor caused by the geometry of the measuring tube and the liquid flow can reduce the effective pressure of the liquefied gas below its vapor pressure, and the vaporization of the liquefied gas in the tube can have the same effect on the sensor as fog bubbles. Therefore, once the size of the sensor is determined, the back pressure required to maintain the liquid state can be calculated. During the operation of the flow meter, only the back pressure required by the sensor can effectively avoid meter interruption.
