Submersible Level TransmitterOperation and maintenance precautions
1. The input liquid level meter adopts the capacitance measurement principle. The outer insulation layer of the probe can be made of insulating materials corresponding to different media (such as PTFE material that is resistant to high temperature, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, and high chemical stability). It is insulated from the liquid being measured during normal operation. When installing, be sure to protect the outer insulation layer of the probe wire. Once damaged, it will lead to shortened service life or installation failure. When the probe wire is completely immersed in the liquid after installation, a 20M digital multimeter should be used to measure the insulation resistance between the probe wire and the liquid (or the outer wall of the metal container). When measuring insulation resistance, temporarily disconnect the probe wires from the transmitter.
2. When the submersible liquid level meter is installed in the open air, the probe wire cannot be exposed outside the container to avoid measurement errors caused by the probe wire falling on the water in rainy days.
3. The stainless steel process connector at the bottom of the input liquid level gauge or junction box shell needs to be reliably connected (grounded) to the outer wall of the container, and its contact resistance should not be greater than 2ω.
4. During normal operation, the probe line cannot swing to a large extent in the container, otherwise the signal will be unstable.
5. When installing the probe line, the inner wall of the container should be as far away as possible, and the minimum distance should not be less than 100mm. When the distance is less than 100mm due to conditions, the distance XUYAO between the probe line and the container is relatively fixed.
6. For the single-wire soft probe, after pulling it out from the upper end of the process connector, cut off the excess part, and then tighten the storage bolt. For twisted pair probes, the excess part can be coiled above the liquid level to be measured, and is not allowed to be coiled around the bottom of the container or the effective measurement section.
7. When there is stirring in the container or the liquid may produce a large number of bubbles, in order to protect the probe line and avoid false liquid levels caused by liquid fluctuations and bubbles, the inner diameter of the container can be set to >:80mm metal or non-metallic tube. The lower end of the tube should be opened into the liquid hole, and the ventilation hole should be left below the liquid level. When using a metal pipe, the position of the probe wire within the pipe should be quite stable, and the probe wire should be supported and straightened if necessary.
8. If any abnormality is found during use, the power should be turned off, stop using it, and check or report it directly to the company's technical department.
9. Connect the power supply strictly according to the product installation and wiring instructions provided by the factory.
10. During transportation and storage, the submersible liquid level meter should be restored to its original packaging and stored in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse.
