The input-type liquid level gauge is based on the principle that the static pressure of the measured liquid is proportional to the liquid level height, and uses the piezoresistive effect of diffused silicon or ceramic sensitive elements. A microelectronic smart chip is added to convert the static pressure into an electrical signal, and then through temperature compensation and linear correction, it is converted into a liquid level sensing instrument that outputs a 4-20mA standard current signal. Transmitters are used to achieve intelligence. The human-machine interface is friendly, parameter values can be set freely, alarm output can be realized, five pairs of relay control output points can be realized, and it has functions such as LED display. So, let's take a look at the advantages and installation matters of the submersible level gauge.
Advantages of input liquid level gauge:
The submersible level gauge has a simple structure, without any movable or elastic components, simple operation, easy debugging, high measurement accuracy and reliability, easy installation, and low maintenance cost; silicone oil piezoresistive pressure sensor, the measurement sensor lead is connected through a cable with an air duct, the output signal is amplified by a high-precision, low-temperature drift amplifier, sent to a high-precision A/D converter, and converted into a data signal that can be processed by a digital microprocessor. The calculated and processed signal controls the multi-way switch to measure and control the liquid level of the control system.
The installation of submersible liquid level gauge should comply with the following regulations:
1. The distance between the instrument joint (connector) and the bottom of the tank should be greater than 300mm, and should be in a position that is convenient for maintenance.
2. The installation height of the double-input liquid level gauge should not be higher than the lower pressure flange port on the container, and the zero point and negative migration should be accurately calculated: the conductive capillary should be fixed with angle steel or steel pipe. Insulation measures should be taken in areas with large temperature changes.
3. The installation of differential pressure transmitter to measure liquid level should meet the following requirements:
A. The distance between the upper and lower pressure gauge joints (nozzles) should be greater than the required measurement range; the distance between the lower pressure gauge joint (nozzle) and the bottom of the tank should not be less than 200mm, and the upper pressure gauge should avoid the liquid outlet: the instrument joint (nozzle) should avoid the gas phase spray inlet, and shockproof measures should be taken when avoidance is unavoidable;
B. When measuring the liquid level of volatile or condensable media, isolation tanks should be added to the negative pressure side (gas phase) or both positive and negative pressure sides, and the zero point and negative migration amount should be accurately calculated;
C. When measuring the liquid level in the steam boiler drum, a temperature self-compensating balance container should be installed, and the pressure guiding pipe should be heat traced and insulated.
