The selection of pressure transmitter has a great impact on the final performance

In order to ensure that the product you choose meets the usage requirements, you should pay attention to the following points when selecting:

1.Confirm the type of pressure being measured.

The pressure forms mainly include gauge pressure, differential pressure and absolute pressure mode. When measuring the liquid level, select the gauge pressure or differential pressure mode according to whether the free atmospheric pressure or sealed air pressure is above the liquid level. For example, the differential pressure mode should be selected for liquid level measurement in a sealed pressure vessel.

2.Confirm the range of pressure to be measured.

Generally, the measured pressure value should be 60%-100% of the standard range of the selected pressure transmitter, and 70% is often selected.

3, Confirm the required overload capacity.

The maximum possible overload pressure in the system. Including pressure peaks caused by abnormal conditions such as pulsation, vibration, impact, etc. Generally, the maximum peak pressure of the system should not exceed the maximum allowable overload of the product.

4.Confirm the measurement accuracy of the measurement, i.e. accuracy.

The accuracy provided by our company is a comprehensive indicator, including three indicators, namely linearity, repeatability, and hysteresis. Generally, there are four levels: 1.0, 0.5, 0.25 and 0.1. The accuracy level should be determined based on the maximum error assigned to the sensor by the measurement system. In practical applications, the zero drift and the additional errors introduced by the zero and sensitivity temperature systems should sometimes be considered.

5.Confirm the temperature range used.

The medium temperature at the user's application site should be within the compensation range of the pressure transmitter, so that stability and accuracy during product application can be guaranteed. For situations where the operating temperature exceeds the compensation range but is within the operating temperature range, the sensor can still work, but its measurement accuracy and service life will be greatly affected. For users who have a wide operating temperature range and require high accuracy, they can choose intelligent products.

6.Confirm whether the medium in the place of use is corrosive.

Depending on the corrosiveness of the medium used, the sensitive components and housing of the pressure transmitter will use different materials compatible with the medium, and sometimes require special processing. These are closely related to the price and delivery cycle of the product. This needs to be considered in advance and proposed when ordering.

7.Confirm pressure interface form.

The pressure transmitter products provided by our company all have standard interface forms. If the user needs a special interface form, it can be specially customized to ensure smooth connection with the on-site interface.

8.Confirm the power supply mode and output mode.

Our company's products provide standard power supply forms and four output forms: 4-20mADC, 0-10VDC, 0-5VDC, and 1-5VDC. Users need to confirm whether the selected model matches the field application requirements.

9.Determine whether there is interference or vibration at the installation site.

If so, please mention it when selecting the model. Our company will perform anti-interference processing on the product according to the specific situation.

10.Determine whether there is pressure shock at the installation site.

The instantaneous pressure impact will cause the fluid to move at high speed and impact the pressure sensing diaphragm. Excessive kinetic energy will impact the additional pressure and cause a large pressure overload. If there is a pressure shock phenomenon, please mention it when selecting the model. Our company will perform pressure buffering treatment on the product according to the specific situation.

Characteristics of the measurement medium: This point is often overlooked by many users and manufacturing companies. Sensors that measure media with certain characteristics must be treated differently. For example: the measuring medium is kerosene. Kerosene is a highly permeable substance. Corresponding measures must be taken in the design and packaging of sensors. Otherwise, the service life of the sensor will be affected.
