ultrasonic level gaugePlease pay attention to the following points when using:

1. Confirmation of the blind spot of the ultrasonic liquid level meter. When getting the ultrasonic liquid level meter, you must first check the blind spot of the instrument. The blind spot is closely related to the installation height of the ultrasonic liquid level meter. The installation height must be full: the distance between the liquid level surface and the highest liquid level gauge should be greater than the blind zone value.

2. Ultrasonic liquid level meter has the function of measuring distance. It is an important basis for checking whether the measurement function is normal. The distance measurement function is intact, indicating that the liquid level gauge is intact. Secondly, according to the measurement range of the ultrasonic liquid level meter (more specifically, it should be the ability to measure distance, that is, the transmission power, the measurement range is only an electrical parameter related to the output signal), for example: the measurement distance ability of the instrument is 5 meters, when the distance between the emission surface (liquid level) of the ultrasonic liquid level meter and the emission port is 5 meters plus the blind zone value, the measurement distance should be equal to the actual distance, indicating that the instrument is completed normally. This is why the installation needs to be set up at low water levels. A high liquid level setting works well, a low liquid level may not necessarily work properly. Therefore, installation settings must be performed at low fluid levels to ensure normal operation of the fluid level in any state.

3. Pay attention to the measurement of the surrounding environment, such as: whether there is a ladder in the tank, whether there are small steps in the pipe (very uneven phenomenon), whether there are small steps on the pipe wall, etc. If necessary, you can use the false target learning (or resistance learning) function so that the instrument can identify false targets.

4. If used in the cold north, it can be equipped with a cold adaptation function and will not crash at -40°.

5. It cannot be measured in a vacuum state, because sound cannot propagate in a vacuum, because the propagation of sound requires a medium, and there is no medium in a vacuum. Sound is a mechanical wave, and mechanical waves are generated by the vibration of objects. The propagation of mechanical waves depends on media such as air and water.

6. Do not measure under ultra-low temperature conditions.

Under complex working conditions, it is often necessary to install more than one ultrasonic level meter to measure the liquid level. For example, when measuring some large-capacity liquid tanks, the measurement range of an ultrasonic level meter may not be enough to cover the entire liquid level, so some blind areas will appear. At this time, two ultrasonic level meters need to be installed to achieve the best measurement effect. So, if two ultrasonic level gauges are used at the same time, will they interfere with each other? In fact, as long as they are installed correctly according to the requirements, mutual interference can be completely avoided.

When installing these two ultrasonic level meters, we need to do the following:

1. When the transducer emits pulsed ultrasonic waves, there is a certain emission angle. From the lower edge of the transducer to the surface of the medium being measured, there are no obstacles in the area radiated by the ultrasonic beam. Therefore, during the installation process, try to avoid the facilities inside the tank. In this case, if there is any interference from obstacles, "false echo storage" is required during installation.

2. The highest material level must not enter the blind area of the ultrasonic level meter, and a certain distance must be maintained between the meter and the tank wall. The instrument should be installed so that the emission direction of the sensor is as perpendicular to the liquid level as possible. Instruments installed in explosion-proof areas must comply with the national installation regulations for explosion-proof hazardous areas and can be installed under explosion-proof requirements. The instruments must be grounded.

3. When the probe wave of the ultrasonic liquid level meter hits the liquid level, it will be refracted back to the probe. When the probe receives a wave, the time from sending the wave to receiving the wave is calculated to obtain the measurement distance L. The current liquid level H will be calculated by subtracting the measuring distance L from the installation height th of the instrument.

4. The measuring range of the instrument refers to the distance that the instrument can measure. The installation height th should be less than the measuring range. The instrument blind area refers to the area that the instrument cannot measure near the probe. The distance between the highest liquid level and the probe should be greater than the blind zone. For example, when the blind zone is 0.3m, the distance between the highest liquid level and the probe must be greater than 0.3m. The wave generated by the probe is a diffusion process, that is, there is a direction angle. Be careful when installing, otherwise it will hit the pool wall protrusion or groove edge.

5. Although the ultrasonic liquid level meter has its own lightning protection device, when used in multiple mine areas, it is recommended to install a special lightning protection device at the inlet and outlet of the instrument.

6. When used in particularly hot and cold places, that is, when the ambient temperature may exceed the working requirements of the instrument, it is recommended to add high and low temperature protection devices around the ultrasonic liquid level meter.

7. When the distance from the probe shooting surface to the highest liquid level is less than the blind area of the optional instrument, an extension pipe should be added with a diameter greater than 120mm and a length of 0.35m-0.50m. It should be installed vertically with a smooth inner wall. The opening on the tank should be larger than the inner diameter of the extension pipe. Or connect the pipe to the bottom of the tank, with a pipe diameter greater than 80mm, and leave a hole at the bottom of the pipe to make the liquid level in the extension pipe equal to the liquid level in the tank.
