When installing an ultrasonic liquid level meter, it should be noted that the distance between the instrument and the container wall is at least 200mm.

One. datum
2. container center or axis of symmetry
For conical containers and flat-bottom tank tops, the best installation position for the instrument is the center of the top of the container, which ensures measurement of the bottom of the container.
Correctness of universal mounting positions
1. Error: The sensor should be perpendicular to the surface of the medium being measured.
Two. Wrong: The instrument is installed on top of an arched or round tank, which will cause multiple reflection echoes. When installing, try to avoid being in the center of the container.
Three. Right
1. Error: Do not install the flow meter above the feed flow to ensure that the media surface, not the feed flow, is measured.
Two. Correct instructions: Take sunshade and rainproof measures when installing outdoors.
Stir
When there is agitation in the tank, the instrument should be installed as far away from the agitator as possible. After installation, "false echo storage" should be performed in the stirring state to eliminate the influence of false echo generated by the stirring blades. If foam is produced or waves are generated due to agitation, the waveguide installation method should be used.
Bubble
Due to feeding, stirring or other processes in the container, foam will form on the surface of some liquid media, weakening the transmission signal. If foam causes measurement errors, the sensor should be installed in a waveguide or a radar level gauge should be used. Guided wave radar level gauge measurements are not affected by foam and are the best choice for this application.
Airflow
If there is strong airflow in the container, such as outdoor installation, strong wind, or air Vortex in the container, the sensor should be installed in a waveguide, or a radar level gauge or guided wave radar level gauge should be used.
