Combined with the actual production process of the flour mill, the selection of the material level switch should meet the following requirements:

(1)Food grade

Since flour is closely related to people's health, in order to avoid secondary pollution of materials such as raw material warehouses, wet wheat warehouses and finished product warehouses due to product sealing, the material level switch must be selected to meet the food level, that is, the product cannot be equipped with lubricated moving parts, and the probe material should be at least 304 stainless steel, and the surface finish should be less than 0.8μM.

(2) High reliability

Flour processing technology includes the receipt, storage and cleaning of raw grains, wheat milling, flour post-processing, packaging, storage and distribution of finished products and by-products. Working conditions are more complex. Therefore, the choice of material level switch must meet high reliability requirements such as no false alarms, anti-interference, anti-hanging, strong performance, and long service life.

(3) Dust-proof and explosion-proof

During the flour production process, a large amount of dust is generated. When dust is suspended in the air and reaches explosive concentration, once fire, sparks, arc or appropriate temperature occurs, the dust will burn immediately, forming a violent explosion. Therefore, the material level switch selected must meet the requirements of dust-proof and explosion-proof to ensure factory safety.

In order to reduce the time for later installation and commissioning and maintenance costs, and improve construction efficiency, easy-to-install, maintenance-free measurement solutions should be considered when selecting.
