Electromagnetic flow meter is one of the most commonly used medium measuring instruments in industrial production. Through electromagnetic flow meter, we can measure the quality, flow rate and other data of the medium to analyze whether the production process is normal. In industrial environments, electromagnetic flow meter are generally used to measure some corrosive media, so they need to be maintained regularly during use to ensure their normal operation.

When the electromagnetic flow meter is powered on, the zero point must be adjusted when the electromagnetic flow sensor is filled with liquid and is stationary. After being put into operation, it is also necessary to check the operating conditions by stopping the flow regularly for zero point inspection; especially for non-cleaning fluids that are prone to accumulation, easy pollution of electrodes, and rich in solids, more inspections should be made in the early stages of operation to determine the normal inspection cycle. Electromagnetic flow meter with the same excitation method and rectangular wave shock ratio are more prone to zero point drift, so more attention should be paid to inspection and adjustment.
After the electromagnetic flow meter is shut down, it is necessary to measure the resistance between the electrodes first, then disconnect the signal connection between the sensor and the converter, and check whether the measuring instrument is within the value range specified by the manufacturer after being filled with liquid. The resistance value measured each time needs to be recorded and saved, which can be used as a basis for identifying electromagnetic flow meter sensor faults in the future.
