Special applications of magnetic flap level gauge

In fact, most factories in the industry now need to equip their equipment with one or more sets of liquid level gauges, that is, liquid level measuring instruments, during production and operation. However, there are many types of liquid level gauges on the market, and the factory equipment measurement objects themselves are diverse, including different physical properties, different chemical properties, different functional requirements, different installation methods, different measurement methods, etc., which will affect the user's choice of liquid level gauges.

Liquid level gauges include radar, glass tubes, floats, magnetic flaps, weight level gauges, quartz tubes, boilers, ultrasonics, etc. Here we mainly talk about what you need to pay attention to when installing and using magnetic flap level gauges so that they can play their original role and effect.

1. The magnetic float level gauge uses a magnetic float composed of high-temperature-resistant and magnetic magnetic blocks as the main component to participate in the measurement. Because of its magnetism, magnetic equipment or items that interfere with the performance of magnetism cannot appear around the magnetic float level gauge. Otherwise, it will affect the normal performance of the magnetic float, which will lead to errors in the liquid level. Therefore, the environment around the installation and use of the magnetic flap level gauge is very important.

2. As we said at the beginning, the liquid level gauge has different installation methods. Therefore, when installing the magnetic flap liquid level gauge, whether you choose top mounting (vertical insertion into the tank) or side mounting (side flange docking), you need to drill holes in the tank and other equipment in advance. We know that the magnetic flap level gauge is flange-mounted, so the openings on the equipment must be made according to the manufacturer's flange standards. Either purchase a matching flange from the manufacturer; or communicate in advance and ask the manufacturer to customize the flange specifications that are the same as the holes on your own equipment.

The magnetic flap level gauge consists of a body, a flap box (composed of red and white two-color magnetic small flaps), a float, a flange cover, etc. It is used for liquid level measurement of various liquid containers. It can be used in high temperature, explosion-proof, anti-corrosion, food and beverage and other occasions for local display or remote display and control of liquid level.

1. No magnetically conductive material is allowed to be close to the body of the magnetic flap level gauge, and iron wire is not allowed to be fixed, otherwise it will affect the normal operation of the magnetic flap level gauge;
2. If users use heat tracing pipelines by themselves, they must use non-magnetic conductive materials, such as copper tubes. The heating temperature is determined according to the medium conditions;
3. The magnetic flap level gauge must be installed vertically, and a ball valve should be installed between the magnetic flap level gauge and the container lead pipe to facilitate maintenance and cleaning;
4. The medium should not contain solid impurities or magnetic substances to avoid blocking the float;
5. Before use, use a calibration magnet to turn the balls below zero into red and the other balls into white;
6. Open the bottom flange and install the magnetic float;
7. During debugging, you should first open the upper pilot valve, then slowly open the lower valve to allow the medium to smoothly enter the main pipe, and observe whether the magnetic red and white balls flip normally. Then close the lower pilot valve, open the drain valve, and let the liquid level in the main pipe drop. If it is operated three times according to this method, it is normal and it can be put into operation (except for corrosive and other special liquids);
8. The main pipe should be cleaned from time to time to remove impurities according to the medium conditions;
9. For liquid level gauges exceeding a certain length (ordinary type > 3 meters, anti-corrosion type > 2 meters), it is necessary to add a middle reinforcement flange or an ear clip as a fixed support to increase strength and overcome its own weight;

10. When equipped with remote transmission supporting instruments, the following must be done: the remote transmission supporting instruments should be close to the main pipe of the liquid level gauge and fixed with stainless steel hoops (iron is prohibited); the sensing surface of the remote transmission supporting instruments should face and be close to the main pipe; the remote transmission supporting instruments should be facing and close to the main pipe; The zero position of the instrument should be on the same horizontal line as the zero indication of the liquid level gauge; after the wiring hole of the junction box is laid, it must be well sealed to prevent the intrusion of rain, moisture, etc. from causing the remote transmission instruments to not work properly. The junction box should be repaired or debugged in time after completion
