FTR-1600-VTE03 digital turbine flow transmitter detects the rotational speed of DOWESTON flow meter. Each tooth that passes through will be picked up by a contactless point, and a pulse will be generated at the output end and converted into a corresponding proportion of current. Therefore, each pulse corresponds to a fixed volume, and the frequency corresponds to the volume flow. This digital transmitter is screwed into the instrument through the M14x1.5 thread. Therefore, it is suitable for all Doweston measurement units.
● The turbine flow meter (FTR-1600R) works according to the Wollmann impeller counter principle and is a unique system composed of a precision-machined spiral rotor and high-quality gem bearings.
The rotor is the only moving part, and small magnets on the rotor hub are electronically sensed by solid-state Hall-effect sensors outside the wetted area. They record the flow through a pipe by averaging the velocity. The flow of the medium is directed axially towards the precision-machined spiral rotor and therefore rotates.
The speed of a freely rotating impeller over a wide range is directly proportional to the average flow rate and has a linear relationship.
Turbine flow meters have wide adaptability to media and are widely used in various industries.
They are particularly suitable for flow rate measurement of low and medium viscosity liquids such as water, emulsions, glycol mixtures and light oils. Of course, measuring low-temperature liquids is also possible.
Due to its flexible design, many different process connections are available. We provide you with flange connection methods of different standards to cope with your needs, including Chinese, American, and Japanese standards. You can propose it to Doweston's sales engineer when ordering.
