Temperature Sensor
Pipe clamp temperature sensors are available in a variety of pipe clamp size series and materials and can be installed in any position to provide a surface temperature measurement solution that can adapt to a variety of temperatures. This platinum resistance thermometer (RTD) sensor features silver or nickel-plated tips for faster response times, making it an ideal solution for applications with high flow rates of heavy liquids or particles. This spring-loaded sensor ensures optimal surface contact for improved performance.
Pipe clamp material: ASTM 304 stainless steel (1.4301), duplex steel F51 (1.4462), carbon steel (1.0037)
Lead: PTFE insulation, silver-plated copper wire
Insulation Resistance: Minimum 1000 MΩ insulation resistance when measured at 500 Vdc at room temperature
Calibration options: Class A sensor, -50 to 300°C (–58 to 572°F)
Certificates/Certifications: Hazardous Locations, see full specifications for complete list of certifications
Sensors cover a wide temperature range of -200 ° to 300 °C (-328 to 572 °F) to meet many application needs
Mounts directly to the Rosemount 648 wireless device with Rosemount X-well™ technology for accurate process temperature measurement
A variety of pipe clamp series sizes and materials allow the sensor to be mounted in any position, providing greater application flexibility
The installation process requires only two bolts (no welding required), making the connection simpler
Platinum RTD temperature sensors with silver or nickel tips for faster response times
Can withstand application environments containing high-speed, heavy liquids or particles, with better durability and stability
Non-invasive design eliminates the need for piercing procedures with toxic liquids, improving safety
Spring-loaded sensor ensures tight surface contact for improved performance
