Surface Temperature Sensor
The 214A temperature sensor provides a simple solution for thermocouples and RTDs that require specialized designs. The 214A can be tailored to your specific connection type, jacket size, wiring requirements, and more! Get the exact information you need for your system, including surface mount sensors, bearing sensors, lead sets and quick-connect terminals.
Temperature range Thermocouple: -328 to 4200°F (-200 to 2316°C), RTD: -328 to 1202°F (-200 to 650°C)
Leads available in various gauge sizes (8-30), FEP insulated; color coded to ANSI/ASTM E230 standards
Insulation resistance Minimum insulation resistance 1000 MΩ at room temperature when measured at 500 VDC
Calibration options IEC 751 Class A or B; single-point calibration; calibration schedule or customer-specified calibration range, all with Callendar-Van Dusen constants
For process compatibility, single or dual configurations with grounded or ungrounded contacts are available
Sensor accuracy tolerances meet ASTM and IEC standards to provide reliable performance
Surface mount sensor enables non-intrusive temperature measurement. These designs include magnetic sensors and pad sensors
